Liz and I go out every Saturday that we can, to seek the gold medal of yard sales. Today was the best leg of the meet so far this year. Sprinting out the door, we got a late start at 6:52 a.m. But reaching the first sale Liz found one of her prize goals, the blue 150 two seater stroller by Graco. Shortly there after she found a long sought after prize, a snow blower. Both prizes for her daughter and her son in law. Bobbie (thats me) was elated to find a soldering iron for her Honey, 14 outfits for Sadie, clothes and toys and a book and a puzzle for Wellington, a puzzle, a mirror- Well just too much to list. Yes! indeed, It WAS a gold medal day for the girls.
Mostly because we had a good time. Women in the know, know how to spend a Saturday morning. Yes, indeed.
What you say, do we do when the summer games are over? We have planned ahead. We have collected a fine stack of jigsaw puzzles. And where did we find them? At yard sales!

You are the queens of yards sales! Such fun finds.
Did you find anything for me?
You are the yard sale queen! Seriously. 6:52 on a saturday morning...count me out! =) I like sleep.
I may send that puzzle you gave me back. Took me FOREVER to finish it. Who thought 2000 pieces would do me in! But I'm sure it will give you and Liz many hours of enjoyment! ;)
Luvs.
No, No, our limit is 1,000.
And after we scaled the barbwire fence of the 1,000, we take on a really easy large piece 500 or less to get our strength back. And the confidence we lost in the battle of the 1,000.
